Winter Tires

You need control, traction and confidence for driving in winter. Winter tires feature aggressive tread designs and low temperature tread compounds to help provide grip when driving thrugh snow and ice. To generate good snow traction the tire's tread depth, tread design and tread compound are critical. It is recommended that any tire with less than 6/32" of remaining tread depth not be used when snow traction is important. The use of snow tires dramatically affects your cars handling. We strongly recommend the use of snow tires at all four wheel positions, especially in high-performance applications. See Winter Tire FAQ
